Driving Environmental Innovation in Offsite Construction – Call for Participation

The BOS Innovation Hub Challenge will return to Offsite Expo on 17-18 September 2024 where the focus remains on highlighting pioneering sustainable solutions.

Last year’s Challenge at UK Construction Week was a testament to the growing importance of sustainability in the construction industry. With winners Techno Metal Post and minimass leading the charge, the Challenge highlighted groundbreaking solutions aimed at reducing the environmental impact of new homes.

As BOS celebrates its 20th year, it continues to champion innovation in offsite construction to create a more sustainable, resilient built environment.

Participate in the BOS Innovation Hub Challenge to showcase your initiatives and shape the future of sustainable construction, and a chance to win a marketing package worth £5,000 sponsored by Radar Communications.

What is BOS Innovation Hub Challenge?

The BOS Innovation Hub Challenge is a focal point where industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts can converge to explore the next big breakthroughs in sustainable construction. Six participants (three each day) will be invited to deliver their pitch and respond to rapid fire questions from the judges.

Each pitch will culminate in a series of thought-provoking questions posed to the competitors, emphasising the importance of sustainability, affordability, long-term impact and potential. From carbon reduction to circular economy principles, each question will delve into crucial aspects of environmentally conscious construction solutions.

How to enter the Challenge

It’s free and easy to enter – simply complete and return the entry form by 31 July 2024 to fareita.udoh@buildoffsite.com for your chance to be shortlisted.

The shortlisted entrants will be invited to pitch their innovations at Offsite Expo in Coventry on 17-18 September 2024 to a panel of judges and Expo attendees.
