Update on Buildoffsite’s involvement in sector events – September 2019

As part of the continued growth of the offsite sector, the Buildoffsite team and governing forum are delighted to represent our members at a range of sector events, workshops and discussions to enable and drive the continued use of offsite techniques and modern methods of construction.

During September, we were involved in;

Construction Leadership Council Innovation in Building Steering Group Meeting; discussing the recent work of the group, and agreeing future focusses and priorities in line with CLC objectives

Sir Robert McAlpine: Celebrating 150 Years of Technical Excellence; which highlights our member’s significant project throughout their history and showcasing their forward-thinking innovations

Transforming Construction Network +, Creating A Movement for Change Conference; the conference presented current collaborative industry projects & upcoming opportunities and how we can learn, inspire and lead a change within construction

CECA Tech Seminar Series: Offsite Manufacturing; discussing the opportunities that offsite & pre-fabricated solutions offer to the civils & infrastructure sectors
