Buildoffsite – Building Connections July/August 2016

In addition to business as usual activities such as contact with Members and prospective Members, managing activities, communications and events. Buildoffsite is involved in other activities that support the interests of Members and the development of the organisation.

Over recent weeks and in the following few weeks these activities include:

• Launch of Education hub
• Possible launch of Pharma hub
• Collaboration with I Struct E
• Meeting with CITB
• Participation in Construction Leadership Council Innovation Group on MMC
• Input to Business Department Level 3 BIM programme
• Developing the seminar and masterclass programmes for the Offsite Construction Show
• Regular meetings with the Department for Business on offsite activities
• Role of robotics in advanced offsite production
• Relationship building with CIOB
• Collaboration with RICS
