How are we going to give designers the products and information they need?
Buildoffsite is organising a series of webinars focusing on aspects of our latest report “Accelerating the Evolution of Design Management in Construction – The COVID-19 effect” which has been published this week.
The first of these will be held on the 16th of December from 10:00 to 11:00. It will take the form of several short panel member (Powerpoint) presentations of 7 minutes each followed by a Q&A session to respond to questions from the audience. The session will be introduced and facilitated by Nigel Fraser of Buildoffsite, the lead author of the report.
We invite offsite supply chain members, designers and clients to participate in the session.
The panel will include 2 architects, from large and mid sized firms, a BIM manager from a multi-disciplinary engineering design company and a major supplier of cladding systems, which should provide a diverse range of views. This will primarily provide information client perspectives with an initial response from an offsite supplier to get the ball rolling.
