Founded in 2004, BUILDOFFSITE is the UK’s leading advocate for the adoption of offsite and Modern Methods of Construction (MMC). For over two decades, we’ve championed innovation, industrialisation, and collaboration to deliver better outcomes across the built environment.

We believe the future of construction is offsite by default — and that change at scale can only be achieved when industry and policy align around shared goals.

Why BUILDOFFSITE?

BUILDOFFSITE exists to normalise offsite construction, support the supply chain, and remove the barriers that hold back transformation. We do this by:

Bringing the industry together — via national working groups, member-led sector forums, knowledge events, and site visits
Sharing insight and good practice — from platform-led delivery to performance assurance and retrofit innovation
Influencing policy and regulation — through formal engagement with government, Parliament and standards bodies

Our 2025–2030 Manifesto: A Shared Vision for Change

Launched with cross-party support and aligned with the new PAS 8700 standard, the BOS MANIFESTO 2025-2030 sets out a bold five-year roadmap for industrialising UK construction.

The Manifesto outlines six priority policy asks:
