BUILDOFFSITE Launches New Manifesto to Accelerate Offsite Adoption
BUILDOFFSITE has today launched its BOS MANIFESTO 2025-2030, setting out a bold five-year vision to scale up offsite construction and modern methods of construction (MMC) across the built environment.
The Manifesto – built around six key policy priorities and a new set of industry pledges – calls on Government, clients, and the wider construction sector to help remove persistent barriers and unlock the full potential of offsite solutions.
Aligned with the new PAS 8700 standard and backed by Parliamentary support, the Manifesto champions performance-led procurement, low-carbon innovation, workforce transformation, and clearer regulatory support.
“To deliver safe, sustainable, and scalable homes and infrastructure, offsite must move from exception to expectation,” said Dirk Vennix, Executive Director, BUILDOFFSITE. “Our Manifesto lays out how we do that — together.”
The document also introduces new Four Pillars for action: Influence, Insight, Evidence and Collaboration, underlining BUILDOFFSITE’s commitment to transforming construction by working with members and partners across the industry.
