Agenda

10.30am – 12.45pm Housing Hub meeting

  • The agenda for the meeting includes updates from Dennis Seal, the Housing Hub Lead, and Ian Pannell, Buildoffsite, on the activities of the Hub and developments in the Housing sector.
  • There will also be a review and discussion of the Government’s recent white paper, “Fixing our broken housing market”, and Harry Swales of the Homes and Communities Agency will talk about how the HCA accelerated housing fund can help.
  • ​Enevate will give a presentation on their Peacock Rise Development and take questions about the project.
  • Hub members will then visit the Development itself to see show homes and new modules being craned in live.

12.45pm – 1.45pm Lunch

After lunch, there will be a presentation about the BOPAS Property Assurance Scheme (1.45pm – 3.15pm, http://www.bopas.org/), for which members will have to register separately if they wish to attend.

Members are invited to attend the Kent Developers Group meeting taking place later from 3.30pm – 6.30pm, subject to capacity.
