Yorkshire Water currently have 2 vacancies for DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) Development Engineers to join their Standard Products and Solutions Team in Leeds.

As a DfMA Development Engineer, you will be responsible for continuing the development of Yorkshire Water’s portfolio of Standard Products and Solutions and delivering new efficient, offsite delivery techniques and processes for the business.

This role is key to driving this change in our approach to new asset delivery now and into the future and will involve engineering design management and supply chain management.

FREE Technology and Smart Construction Event

Construction Scotland Innovation Centre, Hamilton, Blantyre G72 0AGThe Farmer Review sets out a challenge to our industry to innovate or die. Attending this free conference of Design for Manufacture & Assembly will provide you with an excellent insight into why clients and major contractors are increasingly adopting the DfMA approach to drive improved sustainability performance, improved quality and certainty over time and budget.Advances in Smart Construction and the requirements of the DfMA and Offsite sectors are placing a greater emphasis on the use of technology.  BIM, 3D modelling and printing as well as the Internet of things mean that organisations are having to think about the skills they will need in the future as well as fundamentally assessing how they do business.During the event, you will get an opportunity to:

  • Take a factory tour of the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre
  • Attend a 3D scanning demonstration
  • Engage in a AR / VR technologies and robotic demonstration
