Collaboration – Client & Sector Working Groups
The inaugural Sector Working Group meetings will take place in October 2021. The purpose of these first meetings will be to;
- Agree the terms of reference for the Sector Working Group
- Consider feedback from the inaugural Client Group meeting to develop an initial work plan for the coming 12 months. This work plan will incorporate suggestions for funding to support activity where appropriate.
- Discuss the attendance in the group and suggest additional invitees
The outputs from Working Group meetings will be shared at an internal Working Group Chairs meeting in November 2021. The objectives for this meeting will be:
- Agree on work plans and where additional support or funding may be required
- Review progress on work plans
- Agree on cycle and regularity of meetings for each Sector Working Group
- Identify areas for cross-pollination and collaboration between Sector Working Groups
- Identify where a discipline specific task & finish or expert sub group may be required to support agreed activity, and identify invitees. The discipline sub groups have been agreed as;
- Design & Digital
- Manufacturing, Assembly & Logistics
- Procurement & Value
- Energy, Carbon & Sustainability
- Key announcements to be made to wider membership via weekly or monthly member news channels
- Agree on feedback to be reported to Client Group by chair
- Agreement on information/presentations to be given at next Buildoffsite Quarterly Members Meeting by chairs
