Prefabricated steel buildings 'have numerous advantages'
Structures made from precast steel are superior to those
built with other materials, it has been argued.
Miracle Truss, which is owned by Miracle Steel Structures,
explained why so many people are now taking the factory-made route - and
highlighted five specific areas in which prefabricated steel is better
than its rivals.
Speaking of perhaps the most important characteristic,
the company said: "In comparison to conventional buildings, the construction
costs of steel buildings may be reduced by 60 per cent,"
It also mentioned how versatile precast steel systems can
be, saying they can compliment both the inside and outside of a building
- while also being limitless in terms of size.
There is also a huge amount of design options available,
Miracle Truss explained - something of which many people may be unaware.
Prefabricated steel buildings are often featured on Channel
4's Grand Designs, with a recent example being Martin Pease's sugarcube
house.
